Marcie's Place is just somewhere on the internet-super-highway where I can spend some time spreading my creative wings and, hopefully, enjoy some interaction with others who share like interests.
So what are some of my interests? I love reading and have dabbled in writing, and in time I want to open a writers' board in the hopes other's will share their talents here. I also love creating digital art as well as crafting, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Beading and making jewelry pieces has captivated me, but I'm afraid my family has had to sport pieces that they wouldn't ordinarily don, just because they were made by me. :S I expect to get better after I get my much needed glasses. LOL.
I'm in awe of those who create "dollz", those cute little pixel images seen all over the web (I've used some that I've manipulated on my calendars), but since I can't draw worth a tinker's dram I can only resort to 'franken-dolling'. This is something frowned on by those gifted enough to create such cuteness, and I'll point out I only use "dollz" and props from The Doll Palace to play with.
In my time on the web community, I've found some wonderful people who have passed on inspirational stories, helpful hints and other goodies through e-mail that I've felt compelled to save and host to share with others. These can be found in the 'Offerings' section.
